Dictation for your team that stays on each Mac.
Your people talk, and clean text lands in whatever app they are using. Audio and text are processed on their own Mac. Managers see who has a seat, never what anyone said.
Creating a team is free and takes a company name. Everyone gets a 14-day Pro preview from their first dictation, with no card.
What a company asks first.
Where does our speech go?Nowhere, by default. Transcription and cleanup run on the Mac. A cloud model is used only when a person adds their own API key and turns it on.
What can a manager see?Members' email addresses, who has a seat, each Mac's app version and when it was last seen, and who dictated this week. A team word total appears once three people have dictated. Never one person's word count, and no audio, no dictations, no personal dictionary.
What happens if we stop paying?Dictation keeps working on Free for everyone. Nobody is locked out of their Mac or their history.

What does each Mac need?
A Mac with Apple silicon, macOS 15 or later, and about 3 GB free for the app and its speech models. The app is signed with our Developer ID and notarized by Apple, and updates are signed.
Which permissions does it ask for, and why?
Microphone, to hear a dictation the person started. Accessibility, to put the text at the cursor and to check that the field is not a password field. It never inserts into password fields, takes no screenshots and does not read other windows. The security page has the detail.
What leaves the Mac?
The account email, the app and macOS version, and weekly counts of dictations and words. Never the words, the audio or which apps were used. A person who turns dictionary sync on also stores an encrypted copy of their own dictionary with their account. The list of what is sent and to whom is one page.
Can the team share its names and terms?
Yes. Owners and admins keep one team dictionary on the team page. With Rambleproof 1.2.8 or later, every member's Mac with a seat picks it up within a few hours, and a person's own entry wins for the same word. The team never sees anyone's personal dictionary.
What happens when someone leaves the company?
Remove them on the team page and their seat is free at once. Their Mac loses team Pro at its next check online, or after at most 30 days offline, and keeps Free dictation. Their history is on their Mac and was never ours or yours.
Do you have SSO or a SOC 2 report?
Not yet. Sign-in is a verified email or Google. Company SSO is planned, and we do not hold a SOC 2 report. If your review needs a questionnaire answered, write to us.
